Welcome to my second blog.
This particular blog will be about living life with a hearing loss.
I am severely-to-profoundly deaf, and hearing people are always asking me about what’s life like with a hearing loss.
I hold a M.A. degree in counseling and guidance.
This blog, hopefully, will help anyone who is affected by a hearing loss in any way.
Perhaps you’re the mother of a hearing impaired child. Or you’re a hearing person curious about a hearing-impaired person’s way of life. Or you might have relatives/friends with hearing loss.
Whatever is related to hearing-impaired people, you can ask here.
If I don’t know the answer, I will research it and hopefully give you a link for it. Also, there are even lawyers and psychiatrists who are hearing impaired, and may be able to help you more than I can. Where possible, I can give you links to them.
In the future, I will also post in a sidebar, links to other deaf/hard-of-hearing sites. There’s lots of hearing loss websites out there.
And hey, everyone, those who know me, you know life is great, even with a hearing loss.
