The summer went by really fast. The best part — it’s relatively quite cool here in L.A. I think we really only had one strong heat wave, and that was it.
I’m pleased to report my book proposal about hearing loss passed the second level of editorial reviews. It has to go through one more editorial review and that will be sometime in early fall.
Over the summer I noticed more and more new technologies for DHH people coming out. Hearing aid for those who suffer from tinnitus, and there are waterproof hearing aids now on the market. There’s a faster captioned telephone now available (CaptionCall by Sorenson) and even bluetooth for hearing aids.
I should be back blogging more often in a couple of weeks.
