October is National Protect Your Hearing Month and it’s also Audiology Awareness Month. It’s a good month to check out your hearing for the upcoming holidays.
My DHH book proposal went out for review. I won’t hear anything until October 19th. So now I’m reading other hearing loss books and if I see anything I like, [...]

In the near future I will post a copy of my certificate to this blog and also an updated headshot of yours truly.
I’m hard at work on my book proposal, and hopefully it will be sent out to publishers and editors [...]

Anyway, I was informed my certification as a hearing loss support specialist will arrive in the mail shortly. When it comes, I hope to post it to [...]

Everything went well at the symposium, which was held on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 in San Leandro, CA.
DCARA’s Community Building is very nice. It is across the street from the San Leandro BART station. My husband was delighted with the location. He took our daughter to San Francisco for the day, while I was at [...]
